Imagine you enter a room with a big heavy ball in the middle.
The point is to move the ball, and everyone knows that, and everyone’s excited. But they’re just standing around looking at it.
If you come in and start to heavy ball, or make it move faster, or make the direction better — that is infectious.
People want to work with people like that!
Sometimes this is called “impact” but that can be a buzzword. It’s hard to quantify or describe because these are mostly the “soft” skills.
One way to do this is to just get agency by diving right in. If everyone’s just looking at the ball, get started!
